Expert Mot Trainers who help you get the best out of your annual training
I have been in the automotive industry since 2013. I became a lecturer and course leader at a college, delivering various motor vehicle qualifications in 2016. In 2018, I branched out delivering to trade independently.
I opened a small company in 2019, delivering consultation and compliance throughout the UK, This was working with garages and companies that have had high risk ratings and concerns with Mot Compliance. I then decided to scale back and set my main focus on Annual Training.

This is where Mot CPD comes in. I have been training testers annually since 2018. I feel a lot of companies out there are offering the Mot qual, VTAA, Managers qualification and Hybrid, and Annual training seems to be an afterthought.
I wanted to create a place where we can deliver small group training - never no more than 6 testers, so I can focus on the support offered and building quality knowledge.

We keep the classes really informal. And we don't push to wrap up sessions. I also offer free ongoing support for my testers, so if you need to know where to find something, or to phone a friend, you know you can drop us a quick message and we will always be on hand.

How to use the guides and manuals
Before we even look at the training modules, we begin every session with a look at the guides and manuals. We teach you hints and tips on navigating the systems, so even if you feel a bit rusty with computers we can support you through your learning.

Lets face it, most of us hated school so we most certainly don't want that school house environment for our annual training!
So grab a cuppa, park up and we can have a chat about what the DVSA is up to this year.

Trainers who know their stuff
I have a saying... Its your job to know what's going on in the workshop, its my job to know what you need to know to get on with the job!

Having been doing this for a few years, I have a great understanding of the manuals. I think in a competition of best mechanic you would beat me hands down, but I bet I could finish a testers exam faster than anyone else!
Recording your annual training
Following our sessions, we have a look at your training record and what you have learned. Once this is completed you take this and file it with your garage. If you would like, we can email you an electronic copy too.
Training requirements stipulate you must retail a rolling 5 year record.

Once you train with us, you are a part of the Mot CPD family.
